Tubal Ligation, copper T insertion & oral contraceptives
and counseling to prevent gender discrimination.
National Program for Prevention of Blindness :
There are many diseases that can lead to loss of vision but
the most common among these are cataract, trachoma, gloucoma
and xerophthalmia. They are all preventable or curable and
therefore need to be identified early to avoid blindness.
About 100 ophthalmic surgeries are performed every month.
Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program :
Detection, sputum examination chart x-rays and DOT's treatment
is provided free of cost.
Detection
& Prevention of Malnutrition :
The project is undertaken in 16 surrounding villages and covers
a child population of almost 35000.
Diagnostic Camps & School Health Check-ups :
These camps and School Health Check-ups are held every fortnight.
Patients are referred to Krishna Hospital where treatment
is provided either free or at highly subsidized rates.
Blood
Donation Camps :
Voluntary blood donation camps are conducted in colleges &
social organizations. |
