HOUSE |

The
Hospital and Colleges have been provided with a separate
feeder of 11 KVA by the electricity board. However to counter
frequent power cuts and power failures 4 Generators with
combined capacity of 542.5 KVA are installed to meet entire
power needs of the Institute. |

AND PHOTOGRAPHY |

The department is equipped with conventional & digital
Nikon cameras with 300m lenses, flash guns, and umbrella
unit. It has well equipped dark room, studio, art room
and computer room, which help in coverage of intra-operative
and related events. Microphotography for research work
is carried out for staff and students. |

| TRANSPORT
SERVICES |

The
transport department has 11 vehicles including big buses,
mini buses, AC and non AC ambulances, staff car and a fire
fighter to render services for the University. |

STORE |
| Krishna
Sarita Bazar, a consumer store & canteen is located
in the basement of the College Building & provides
the day-to-day needs of students. |

| LAUNDRY |
 |
The
hospital has an entirely mechanized laundry consisting of
washing machines, hot wash, hydro extractors, dryers, steam
press and ironing. |

| LIQUID
MEDICAL OXYGEN |
Cryogenic
container (vacuum insulated evaporator) of 2600 liter capacity
is installed to provide liquid medical oxygen for operation
theatres and all Intensive care units.

| WATER
TREATMENT PLANT |
 |
The
University has its own water treatment plant with storage
capacity of 4,00,000 liters to meet the daily needs of soft
and chlorinated water of the campus. Regular tests are done
to ensure adequate chlorination.

| SECURITY |
|
An alert and efficient security department guards the campus
of the Institute round the clock at various points and in
various shifts. Security Officer is also entrusted with
the duty of Flag Hoisting on Independence and Republic Day. |

The
University has 8 hostels with single, double & triple accommodation.
The hostels provide a bed, study table, chair and cupboard for each
student. Every hostel has a common telephone, common reading room,
TV & indoor games. Each hostel has its own mess and safety inside
hostels and campus is ensured by wardens and security staff.
An international hostel with air-conditioned rooms, attached toilets,
gymnasium, library will be available from academic year 2009-10.
Two more hostels are under construction, out of which one is an
apartment hostel with every unit having two bed rooms, living space,
kitchenette and toilet block which will have 4 occupants.
